About the Role

Patterson Riegel Advertising is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative team in downtown Fort Wayne. We are open to a range of experience levels — from recent graduates to experienced mid-level designers — and are focused on finding the right creative fit for our agency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thinks creatively, pays attention to the details, and wants to work across branding, print, digital, social, and experiential design projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal creative team while helping bring ideas to life for both local B2C businesses and national B2B brands.

We’re looking for someone who can balance creativity with execution, contribute ideas confidently, take direction well, and thrive in a collaborative agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design branding and logo systems
  • Create social media graphics and digital campaign assets
  • Develop print collateral including brochures, advertisements, signage, and direct mail
  • Assist with website and digital design projects
  • Design trade show and booth graphics
  • Prepare production-ready files for print and digital execution
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and account teams throughout projects
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative development
  • Occasionally interact with clients as needed

Bonus Skills

  • Motion graphics and video editing
  • Photography and/or videography experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent certificate/training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related creative field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and attention to detail
